2. Go on a monorail ride. Buy your tickets at the counter or online (with 15% discount with our promo code SUM15). A round trip costs 15 dhs and children under 110 cm go free of charge.

3. Go for a splash at West Beach. Underground parking is free and there are several fountains along the beach which are great to cool down during the heat. The best time to go is in the morning or late afternoon.

4. Sail a pirate ship! The standard cruise costs 39 dhs/adult, otherwise Tour Dubai recently introduced a weekend brunch and swim offer for 99 dhs.

5. Take advantage of the cooler hours to explore Dubai Creek Harbour and the free play areas. The whale and submarine playground is our favourite but the smaller playgrounds along the promenade are worth a visit, too. Parking is free as well.

8. While you're in Hatta, venture on the dam! An hour of kayaking costs 60 dhs.

9. Have a picnic in Al Qudra. Either go early morning or late in the afternoon.

10. Explore the old town of Dubai. When we published this blog post we were amazed to see how many followers had never ventured to this side of the city. Cross the creek with an abra for 1 dirham or with a water taxi for 2 dhs.

11. Don't forget to check out our list of free activities across town. Not all are doable during the hot hours and some might be closed over eid so make sure to check before going if they are open.

Enjoy the eid break! ✨
