A daycation at Kite beach center Umm Al Quwain š
Last week we went to Kite Beach Center Umm Al Quwain - such a cool place to hang out & totally makes you feel on holiday š There are swings & hammocks in the Maldivian coloured ocean, an outdoor gym that looks out of The Flintstones, a cool tightrope the kids loved as well as a kids play area, basketball hoop, cafe and a wood fire pizza station š
This doesnāt even cover the placeās, perhaps original, purpose as a watersports centre - with kayaks, SUP & kite surfing equipment, lessons and/or tours available šāāļø
Itās 1 hour drive from Dubai. Weekday entrance is 35AED adult/25AED kids over 5. Weekends/Holidays are priced at 75AED adult/45AED kids. The unique thing about this spot is that fur kids are welcome to join too (75AED per pet)... it was so nice to be outnumbered by dogs, rather than kids! š Bookings have to be done via the official website.
There are lots of loungers, bean bags, seating areas, etc. dotted all around but we rented one of the double-height beach huts (250AED weekdays / 350AED weekends - booked & paid in advance)... we will definitely book one next time too as the kids loved having their own little house, shower, hammock & space to chill. Absolutely loved this place & canāt wait to go back already š
Itās an Instagrammers' dream (which also makes for some fun people watching š), but itās actually just a really well done place - super fun for young, old & furry š«
