A Guide to Public Libraries in Dubai
Summer is here and we're all on the lookout for indoor places to spend time at... How about a library?
How many Public Libraries in Dubai have you been to? Most Dubai residents will probably say zero... but far from being the dust covered, empty and boring places some people imagine, Dubai Public Libraries are in fact beautiful, inspiring spaces for book lovers and art enthusiasts!
One of our facourites is the Al Safa Art & Design library which we have shared on our Instagram handle a while ago.
There are 8 Public libraries across Dubai, and all offer free access to a total of 563, 884 books and magazines and free wifi. There is no entrance fee. These libraries have a wide range of books in English, Arabic and other languages for all ages, from childrens' books to highly specialised documentation.
