The Black Pearl is operated by Tour Dubai and departs from here, close to the Dubai Creek Harbour Sales Pavilion. A free visitor's parking is available right next to it.

Although it's far from being an exact replica of Jack Sparrow's Black Pearl, our kids were over the moon to go onboard!

We could choose to remain on the lower decks or sit on one of the several top decks for the best views.

After cruising along Ras al Khor...

...the ship entered the Dubai Canal and set sail on Business Bay.

The masts were lowered so it could go under bridges.

Even for those familiar with Dubai, the views were impressive! Once the ship reached the Alwajeha Al Maeyah marine transport station, it turned around and cruised back to the Dubai Creek Harbour. The entire trip took around 1 hour.

When we did the cruise (before ramadan), a beverage was included but anything additional had to be purchased. The ice creams went down a treat!

Our little pirates will keep talking about the trip for months! Bet they'll all be pirates next Halloween? 🏴‍☠️

The Black Pearl sails daily at 10 AM, 11 AM and from 5 to 9 PM. Kids under 5 go free, kids aged 5 to 12 pay 30 dhs on weekdays and adults pay 40 dhs on weekdays. On weekends, kids pay 40 dhs and adults 60 dhs. The cruise is operated by Tour Dubai and has to be booked and paid online.

We were lucky to go with 2 other families and had the entire ship for us and our friends but expect it to be more crowded at popular times. Weatherwise, the best time to go is probably the afternoon when it cools down a bit so that the kids can enjoy Dubai Creek Harbour's fantastic play areas such as the nearby whale and submarine playground or the smaller playgrounds afterwards.
