If you have visted the Expo2020 site yet, you may have noticed the vast differences in prices for food and drinks. There are many places to eat and drink at the Expo2020 site so it's easy to get carried away and end up spending more than what you may have budgeted for.

Believe it or not, you don't have to spend a lot to be well fed as well as have your hit of coffee at Expo 2020 too. Most of the locations you will need to go through the exhibition first before you are eligible for the free coffee, but it's defintely worth the effort.

Here are all the places that we currently know of that provide free coffee:

Free Coffee:

- DP World pavilion, Free coffee until 18:00. You can choose from water, iced, cappincino or regular. Find them net to USA pavilion.

- Ethiopia pavilion - Free strong coffee

- Sri Lanka pavilion, Free Ceylon Tea. You can choose from mild, medium or strong.

- Rwanda pavilion, Free coffee (choice of milk including oat milk)

- Finland pavilion, Free 'carbon dioxide' coffee (samples given out every 30 mins)

- El Salvador pavilion, Free coffee at exit

- Italian Pavilion, Free coffee at exit

- Jamica Pavilion, Free coffee at exit

If you don't have time to go through a pavilion for your free coffee, there are also plenty of places for coffee that won't break the bank.

Cheap Coffee:

- Coffee (cappuccino, latte, long black, etc) starts from 10dhs for a small size at the Australian pavilion.

- Zoom stores. Cappuccino, Cafe Latte or Flat White 14dhs (only one size).

- Ikea at the Sweden Pavilion. While Espresso and Americano cost 9 dhs, a Cappuccino or Latte costs 12.

Make sure you bring a refillable water bottle inside with you. There are many drinking stations where you can also find free water refills.

Free Water:

- Refillable water stations scattered around the expo (although by the end of the day the water does become hot in the warm weather).

- Free water refills at Aquafina station. Choice between still or sparkling. Found in Sustainability District.
